About three years ago David Myers, Jr. and his wife Linda came to Spring Road at the request of the elders to reorganize the Adult Education Program and assist in teaching and preaching. As was announced a couple of weeks ago, David has accepted an invitation to work with the Dublin-Powell Church of Christ beginning Nov. 1. Although we are sad that David and Linda’s work here is coming to a close, we are happy that they will have the opportunity to work alongside David’s brother Bryant and his wife Rhonda at Dublin-Powell. We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to David for his work with the adults in curriculum development, teaching, and preaching; and Linda for her work in teaching out children. Their faithful service to Spring Road over the past three years has been a tremendous blessing and a wonderful example. We pray God will bless their new work in the congregation and the community at Dublin-Powell. David and Linda have left a significant footprint here at Spring Road and have proudly extended the legacy of his father David, Sr. who ministered to this congregation for many years. We will be forever grateful for their contributions, their friendship, and their service. May God continue to bless your lives and your work. We will miss you.
