- Welcome new youth group members!!!!

..Sure, not everyone is ready for school...but like it or not, it's here! Along with fall sports and cooler temperatures at night. Most important of all, we get to welcome the new members to our youth group!! (Jared Deel, Emilee Bright, Max Chivington)

Our time together as a youth group is so valuable. With all of our other activities and time spent at school, it seems that we really don't have to much time together. That is exactly why I constantly plan new and exciting activities for us to do together throughout each month.

One of the most exciting to me personally, is the new Wednesday night Bible class that will start September 1. It will focus on how you can make the most of your precious time together as a youth group, and get the most out of your prayer and study time alone. It will teach us how to, not just "get-through" each day at school, but how to have a faith that leads us...a faith that is contagious...a faith that makes us stronger. Be sure not to miss out on our new class "courage" as we; study God's word, watch relevant DVD clips, engage in new and fun ice-breakers, and grow even closer together as a group here at Spring Road.

I also want each one of you to know that I am very proud of you! I have had the opportunities to see many of you not just in class, but active in the environment of "the world". I am proud of the Christian example that you all set in the way that you act and behave. I know how difficult it is to go against the majority...and just know that God will bless you tremendously as you continue to live for Him!!!
