Young Adult NWOCYC Retreat — August (date TBD)
Spend a weekend in scripture on the North Western Ohio Christian Youth Camp campus. Kids are optional. See Nick for more information.
Ladies Quarterly Potluck Luncheon — September 7
Catch up with your sisters after worship and enjoy some delicious homemade food! Ladies of all ages are invited. Bring a dish (and a friend!)

Small Group![]() Meets every other Tuesday (for the summer) at 6pm for dinner, study at 7pm. Dinner is usually brown bag (bring-your-own) with the occasional potluck, which is announced on P.2 of the weekly bulletin.
On the off weeks, there will be opportunities to gather for fellowship — playing games, enjoying the weather, etc.

Lunch Bunch![]() Once a month, the Young Adults keep the party rolling and go out to lunch together after services! Kids are welcome to join. Locations are sometimes not announced until the day of, so listen out for the announcements, or ask the office to add you to the text chain for updates!

Meal Ministry
“Nehemiah said, ‘Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to the LORD your God. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.'” (NEHEMIAH 8:10)
Every Saturday, one of our Care Groups prepares and delivers meals to friends and family in need. Did you know every member is in a Care Group? Yes, even you! Find out which group you are in by checking the bulletin board or contacting the office. We can help you get in touch with your Care Group leader so you know how you can help.

Monthly recurring ministries, their dates, and needs
**The 3 ministries below all include a call for desserts (cookies or brownies). If you choose to participate in this way, we collect these baked goods throughout the month, not just the week before or the week of! You can drop off your cookies and/or brownies at any time during the month LABELLED (either for the specific ministry or “For Ministry Use”) and we freeze them until the appropriate time.**
PBJ & Jesus w/ Jordan’s Crossing — Tuesday, August 12
Jordan’s Crossing (WEBSITE) ministers to youth in Columbus and passes out 800 PB&Js every second Tuesday! WOW!! Spring Road provides 150 of those PB&Js, along with chips, cookies, fruit, and a bible verse.
Help prepare sandwiches and bags at 9:00am.
Sign up to bring cookies on the bulletin board.
Please have cookies at the building by the Monday before.
Brownies for Jordan’s Crossing 4th Friday Meal — Wednesday, August 22 or earlier
We provide dessert for the Jordan’s Crossing 4th Friday Meal! You can sign up to bring a pan of brownies or several on the bulletin board. Or, contact the office. Brownies need to be at the building by Wednesday evening to be wrapped.
Men’s Shelter Meal — Tuesday, August 26, 3:30PM
Every 4th Tuesday, we prepare a meal for Friends of the Homeless (website HERE)! There are 4 parts to this ministry:
1) Providing punch, milk, and/or cookies. Cookies/punch can be dropped off labelled in the kitchen at any time
2) Preparing sandwiches on that Tuesday, 9:00am at the church
3) Preparing the chicken and noodles meal at 3:30pm at the church
4) Driving down at 5:30pm to serve the meal, or meet us there at 5:50pm. Return by 7pm
You can sign up to provide milk, cookies, or punch on the bulletin board. If you want to help with the prep and serving, you can sign up, or just show up! We’d love to have you!

Children’s Ministry — Weekly
Click here to sign up to teach a class or serve in the nursery! Teaching is easy and fun, and the curriculum is provided. See Lauren Honaker (614-600-7650) or the office with questions.
Communion Prep
Slots for 2025 prep open
Volunteer to prepare our weekly communion for Sunday service! This includes making the communion bread, setting up, and putting away the trays of bread and cups of juice each week. The communion sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. (Typically, families sign up to take a whole month, but you can sign up week by week as well.)
WARM Grocery Delivery — Every Friday
Contact the office or Mike Jones (614-571-4092) to get involved with Westerville Area Resource Ministries! We deliver groceries to members of the community, and sometimes give rides to the facility for clients who are unable to drive. It’s a wonderful blessing!
JORDAN’S CROSSING — Every Thursday, 9:30am-2pm
Serve westside Columbus every Thursday by preparing and passing out food bags to families in need.
